Helping to build calm, confident children through coaching. I am a former teacher with over 20 years classroom experience. Having noticed a clear decline in children's confidence, resilience and general mental health over the last few years, I left teaching and I now work with children and young people aged between approximately 9 - 13, at home or in school, supporting them to grow confidence and resilience skills. I work with children who may be struggling with friendship issues or bullying (whether the perpetrator or the victim), with school anxiety or school refusal. I use CBT and NLP techniques in my sessions along with games, crafts and fun. Giving children the skills to be able to name their feelings and emotions is a big step towards them being able to manage them.
